TODAY I PRAY
If I am discouraged with today, may I remember the sorrows and hassles of yesterday.
If I am impatient for the future, let me appreciate today and how much better it is than the life I left behind.
May I never forget the principle of "One day at a time."
-- Borrowed
Pray in the morning;
Pray in the evening;
Pray at the noontime;
Pray all the time.
The Holy Alphabet
Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when the times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
Joy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "Camp Complaining"
No weapon that is known
On earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at hand
Start every day with worship
To "thank" is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
X alting God most high
Y e s, there'll be good times and yes some will be bad, but...
Z ion waits in glory...where none are ever sad! -- Borrowed

*** Encouraging ***
Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as you ever can.

FAITH
Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:6: . . . he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
James 1: 5,6: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Ephesians 2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Galatians 3:26: For ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 5:22: . . . the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
2 Corinthians 5:7: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
